I am so excited to be sending out this preview direct from @JuliaYIllustrations.

This incredible piece of art is an incredible example of Julia's mixed media process. The original 3D artwork was a combination of acrylic paint, collaged fabric, embroidery floss, and ink. "Afterlife- Scorpio, Bats, and Marigolds" is part of Julia's Herbal Zodiac Series. An incredible amount of thought went into this artwork. Magic, astrology, geometry, herbalism, zoology, permaculture. The intention and time that Julia puts into their work is impossible to miss.

I recently turned 40, and today I celebrated by getting felt up by a machine. It didn’t even buy me a drink first!

But seriously, today I got my first routine mammogram done. Results came back NORMAL, and it wasn’t that bad. I wouldn’t describe it as fun or comfortable, but it wasn’t painful or scary like in some anecdotes I’ve heard.

So if you have breasts and are over 40 and haven’t gone, I encourage you to do so. And share about it with others. Maybe your sharing & normalization will encourage someone else to go and you’ll save a life.
